Jeremy Marshall has been named Fire Chief for the City of Clinton.
Marshall is a 13 year veteran of the Clinton Fire Department and has been serving as interim since November 2021 . The fire department has 15 full time firemen and 8 part time firemen.
The department covers 70 sq. miles and has a 2 ISO rating.
The Clinton’s main station is located 3 miles from the City of Clinton’s industrial park.
Housing Coming to Clinton
The city of Clinton is experiencing a housing boom with approximately 900 new residences being planned.
DR Horton started grading in July 2022 for it’s planned 265 new single family homes, ranging from approximately $180,000 to $275,000 (#1 on map). This development is only 1.25 miles from the City of Clinton’s industrial park.
Ryan Homes has also started the process of grading, along with adding storm water & curb gutters. They plan 80 new homes (#5 on map) in the Hampton Woods area.
Ellis Development is planning 170 new homes, and Beeson Development currently has property under contract for 170 new homes as well.
There are several of apartment projects underway as well including Prosperity 8, Forest Glen, The Grove, and Legacy Apartments.
The Axe Craft Depot, located at 223 West Main Street in downtown Clinton, is now open.
Six throwing lanes are available, and the cost is $20 per hour.
