Health care is a top priority for the Clinton area. Laurens County Memorial Hospital, part of Greenville Health System, has been caring for the residents of the greater Laurens County community since 1911.
Throughout its history, the highest priority has been on providing compassionate, exceptional care to the families it serves. Laurens County Memorial Hospital has sustained many changes since it was originally opened as Laurens County Hospital, and has grown into a hospital that not only cares for the sick, but also leads the community with outreach programs and services.
In July 2013, Laurens County Health System became part of Greenville Health System. Its 90-bed hospital facility, Upstate Wound Healing and Hyperbaric Medicine Center and several primary care practices now are part of GHS and serve as a gateway to the comprehensive offerings available through the state’s largest public healthcare network.
